mending photos, not hearts
Pretty small update to cover these last 12 days. I've been busy with OWL Control, the project that I maintain for Wayfarer Labs, but the main thing I completed was to finally set up my own personal photo library.

Hello, hello! It has been just over three weeks since my last update. I'm not proud of that, but it is what it is: I've been doing some work for Wayfarer Labs, which has dominated much of my free time of recent. It's not always easy working across timezones!
Nonetheless, I'd say it's been a relatively productive three weeks, with the main focus being blackbird
, my music player, so let's get stuck in:
It has been over two weeks since my last update. I've worked on a few things, but not a lot: I realised that, after my last update, that I was running myself ragged, and I'd be better served by taking my foot off the pedal and taking things a bit more leisurely, so that's what I did. That's not to say that I did nothing, though...
Between work and social engagements, I had limited time to work on my own personal projects this week.
My pet project for the last week and a half has been to stay logged out of Discord, my primary social platform, through which I stay in touch with my friends, group chats, and niche news. The goal behind this was simple: I spend a lot of time talking to people on Discord, especially when I'm waiting on things to complete (long-running processes, AI agents, etc) or as junk-food-stimulation for when my brain simply refuses to shift out of neutral. Taking a break should, theoretically, force me to spend more time actually doing the things that I am supposed to be doing.
As is usually the case, I find myself in a state of paralysis with regards to writing blog posts: whatever I write needs to be worthy of taking a prominent spot on my front page, which has prevented me from documenting the day-to-day out of a fear of banality. To counteract that, I have brought this section into existence for off-the-cuff updates that don't have to be held to the same standard.
Unfortunately, the work for this was complete over a month ago, and I've been holding off on merging it because I hadn't actually written an update: no amount of website tech can help you if the problem resides between the keyboard and the chair. To force myself to get a move on, here are some relatively succinct summaries of the plates I'm spinning at this moment.as I get further into this post, I realise succinctness is hard and this is very much a lie
